The porch light was on already. I think it was set on an automatic timer. Didn't matter anyway. My eyes stayed droopy as we swayed from side to side as he walked up to the door. His cologne smelled warm and ... I couldn't think of a word to describe it right. All I knew was that I didn't want to be dropped down from my comfy position with my face between his neck and shoulder.
He shifted and soon enough my feet shakily touched the ground. I blinked slowly and stared at the door as if it would just open for us. He suppressed a chuckle and nudged my side. "Don't tell me you don't have a key." He said.
